The idea being portrayed is that nothing can stop them from standing for what they believe in and shows the audience that fighting for your passion is important.

Australians are very determined when it comes to getting what they want. Friends and family are the backbone when it comes to supporting one another.

The music in the background represents how loving the family is.

It displays a level of cultural aspects within Australia and shows features of language and identity associated with the characters, through the lyrics and overall style of the music.

Slang/Accent The voice over of the son The voice over of the son highlights the humor of aussie slang and to see the story of the characters through dale’s perspective. Dale gives us a closer insight of the family and gets us more emotionally invested in the characters.

The accent and slang used is a huge part of the language, culture and identity, as it is extremely common vocabulary and expresses the strong recognition of an accent that is frequently said.
