Type of source: Reference

Journal article Băjenescu T.-M. I. (2018) “The Risk of Artificial Intelligence”, Journal of Engineering Science (Chişinău) , 25(4), pp-

This source is relevant because...It illustrates that artificial intelligence is something that can do things as humans do.

It shows the global risks of AI: cause trouble to the education of young people; job losses; kmIt discusses some risks relating to AI: algorithmic bias; overestimating the ability of AI; errors in program; attack by hackers; little legal restriction to AI; privacy problem. It talks about the misuse risks of AI: people lose the control of machine intelligence; become a power tool of some power-seeking individuals or organizations. It compares the advantages and disadvantages of AI, and says AI is still at the beginning stage, the reason to why people against AI is their fear of the unknown. It gives examples on how people treat AI: google banned AI applications; EESC’s assessment on AI shows that AI can raise many moral, ethical, societal problems.

I found this source by... Using Google Scholar. I entered ‘the risk of artificial intelligence’, then used the filter to get the articles published in years from 2016 to now, because I think AI is a technological area that changes very fast, only recent 3 years articles are up to date.
