NUTRITION Pre-Lab Questions 1. How do the intake of nutrients and expenditure of energy relate at a metabolic level? Nutrients which supplement with calories, relate at a metabolic level to feed your body with more energy giving yourself a higher metabolism level. 2. Do you think you take in more calories than you burn in a day? I believe we burn more calories because I’ve heard we burn when we sleep and burn when thinking. It all really varies on what you’re eating as well. ˚ ©eScience Labs, 2016 Experiment 1: Tracking Your Nutrition Summary Your Daily Goal 3,810 476 50 127 30 191 20 2,300 143 Remaining 3,810 476 50 127 30 191 20 2,300 143 Calories Carbs Fat Protein Sodium Sugar kcal g g g mg g Analysis I’m very confused in how you wanted me to input the results from the last 3 days so I’m putting what it sets out for me to do if I want to gain 1 pound per week.
