The qualities leaders need to succeed Leadership is considered a form of responsibility and commitment to empowering others. If a group of individuals decides to form a team, then it is necessary to name a leader that will achieve the things they want to do. A leader is someone who leads to achieve goals and get ahead to bring change. There are so many ways to describe a leader and it is important to consider the influence a leader will have on his or her team. A good leader must have good characteristics such as communication, respect, and integrity. Communication Team performance within a group can be impacted by leader communication. A leader must have good communication skills to be able to guide the team in any way possible. A good leader should not be shy to talk to the team and should be comfortable communicating at ease. Communication is considered an important strength a leader should work towards because it is how a leader gets to know the team at first and what a leader expects from the team to bring about progress for change. A team works effectively when their leader often reminds them about the goals they need to achieve. A leader should give feedback to the team on time to ensure that the team gets the support they need to succeed. Frequent leader communication can have a good impact on team members’ performance (Newman et al., 2020). Leaders who respond on time to their team will increase team success (Newman et al., 2020). Leader communication enables the team to work smoothly and successfully. There is no team development without the use of communication to strengthen work performance.
Respect Additionally, leaders who show respect can increase the performance and success of the team. There are people today who agree that respect is the kind of treatment everyone should

Conclusion In conclusion, a good leader should possess good qualities such as communication, respect, and integrity. A leader needs to utilize such characteristics to become successful in accomplishing goals. Leaders must communicate with their team to develop team performance. Team success is possible through leadership respect and how the team is treated. A good leader shows integrity to demonstrate good moral values to the team. Today’s leaders should never become unprepared to face the challenges that lie ahead of them. Overall, a good leader should set a good example to motivate others who want to become leaders one day to change the world.
