Write About What I Learned I learned a lot about mindful breathing, specifically a three minute exercise that was utilized in the experiment that was demonstrated in this article. From this breathing exercise it showed in the experiment that these exercises were in fact effective in releasing stress from community college students. I also did not realize what a low percentage of community college students actually complete their education and how unprepared they can be. One other thing that shocked me is how beneficial something as simple as deep breathing can be to a person. The term writing apprehension was also new for me but it makes total sense, I feel that maybe I even sometimes struggle with that. This article made me realize that I too could maybe utilize something as simple as a breathing exercise in hopes of slightly reducing stress and let my natural and free flow of writing occur. I think it is worth noting too that there are many different types of writing anxieties that I did not necessarily think of before reading this, such as individuals being overly confident and then their writing not being as strong, or even the complete opposite when peop;le are frankly too anxious to just write when in reality they are very strong writers.
