ASSIGN 1: SELF-IMPROVEMENT PLAN
I. Below is a list of aspects about you that may need improvement. What do
you think you can do in order to improve them?
TARGET
CURRENT STATE
DESIRED STATE
IMPROVEMENT
STRATEGIES
Spending
my past
time
Sleeping/ wasting
time with my phone
Reviewing/studying
Look for motivation. Try
to tell yourself to invest
more time in studying.
Making decisions
Impulsive
Be meticulous
Try to not regret your
decisions. And instead
tell yourself to just make
the best of what you
have.
Life goals
Right now, I just
want to find my
passion
I want my goals to
be detailed. Like a
bucket list that I can
actually put a check
when it’s achieved.
Write everything you
want in a paper and read
it. That way, you can just
be yourself and you can
go back to it anytime.
Material
Possessions
I value them all.
I should spend
more time with
people than those
material things.
Instead of making the
phone an escape to
reality, try to get out of
the world and build
healthy relationship with
real people.
Study Habits
I think I have none.
For whenever there
is “free time” I use it
as leisure time. I
don’t really use it
for study because
with all the school
works being thrown
to us
simultaneously, my
mind is clouded by
the thought of “rest
and me time”.
I want to create a
weekly schedule of
to do things.
I want to be able to
sit in front of a book
or my laptop for
hours studying just
like what I do when
I use my phone for
leisure.
In order to achieve and
make that study habit
possible, I first need to
change my perspective
about studying.
After reading what I
wrote in the ‘current
state’ column, I can tell
that the way I view
studying is not right and
not helping so, for that to
change, I should
change my ways.
