1. Give three reasons why the Kartilya ng Katipunan is important to the grand narrative
of Philippine History.
These three reasons are some of the absolute truth came from the text. These are:
This text is one of the few that documented at that time. It helps us to get a view of the
ideas of Katipunan and its legislatures today. This helps us to think more about our goal
in the future.
It also encouraged the participation of the people to join the movement and put a sense
of nationalism into motion in some way whatsoever. This adds to the independence of the
Philippines.
It sets the basis for the way the Filipinos think in general. Many of the concepts in
Kartilya can also be applicable today to our daily personal life and to the life of the
country at present.
2. Identifying the values that we need or lack in order for us to become dignified and
noble citizens of our nation.
