Rodrigo Roa Duterte, also known as the gong and Rody. A Filipino politician who is the president of the Philippines and the first from Mindanao to hold office. His father was a lawyer and her mother was a school teacher. The Duterte's consider the Cebu based political families of the Durano and Almendras clan as relatives.
He is the chairperson of PDP- Laban, the ruling political party in the Philippines. Duterte took office at the age 71 and the oldest person to assume the Philippine presidency. He then worked as a lawyer and was a prosecutor for double city, before becoming a vice mayor and subsequently mayor of the city.
Duterte’s political success has been aided by his vocal support for the extrajudicial killing of drug users in others criminals. His domestic policy has focused on combating the illegal drug trade by initiating the controversial war on drugs, fighting crime, and corruption, and launching a massive infrastructure plan. He has declared his intention to pursue an independent foreign policy.
The administration of president Rodrigo Duterte continues to Focus on inclusive growth and reducing income inequality in the Philippines. the successful implementation of public infrastructure upgrades under the build program, the essential spurring sustainable growth, and improve access to credit for individuals and small businesses. And to stimulate inclusive growth and rural development, poverty rates remain high in spite of recent economic expansion.
K-12 SYSTEM: FAILURE OR NOT? By: Charlywel D. Mangubat
Hi, I am Charlywel D. Mangubat, a third-year student taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English. I am one of the pioneering products of K to 12 curriculum which was universally implemented in the Philippines way back in the school year 2011-2012 but the enhanced K to 12 curriculum was fully implemented in the school year 2012-2013 as it was enacted in the law also known as the Republic Act 10533, series of 2013. Being one of the pioneering batches of the of the K to 12 curriculums, I have always been having a notion in mind that people are expecting something big from us, something excellent that we may brought in the field of academics as we are the newly breeds of the new system of education and that is because I also saw that in the comments of the people. We are often entitled as the advanced learners, the students who were prepared and honed for globalization but despite these positive comments, negativities are inevitable
President Duterte most visible campaign has focused on the eradication of crime and illegal substance use. He also led the campaign of face criticism from both local and global organizations due to concerns over human rights violations. And also moving forward administration will face a number of challenges as it seeks to deliver on campaign promises which include achieving pieced a rule of law in Mindanao, and eliminating corruption in the government an accelerating infrastructure development.
President Rodrigo Duterte Is a great president because despite of his bad expressions sometimes and his unbecoming actions There are still many Filipinos who support him, and he is an Internationally controversial figure due to his outlandish remarks concerning several issues like the most recent one regarding his comment to the European Union.
The reason why president Duterte is seen as a leader is because he has the traits apt for a “GREAT MAN”. He has self- confidence which is he wanted to end drug related crimes immediately and something that past Philippine presidents did not focus on honesty and integrity because he says what he really thinks and desire to lead he did run for the office he was the mayor before or prior to running for president has a very low crime rate agreeable and he is sing a relatable character due to his humble beginnings and
please people but I believe that we can still prove them wrong. Perhaps not at this time but soon, our time is yet to come. How about you? What is your stand on this topic? Is the K t0 12 implementation a failure or not?
Yes to Gender Equality: No to discrimination By: Angelica Joy Oyao
Women have always struggled with inequality in our society, job, image, career paths. Society always thinks that because women is weak and can do nothing, some of the society believe that women are more likely staying home than doing some work. As we don’t know we are having upgraded women who can do more and 10x better than man. Society always think that women are feminine, shy, modest, weak and more that’s why society tend to say that Women are under with Man because of this belief but they don’t know that the real Women are more powerful and have strength that Man have. When we talk about this, we have LGBTQ+ who cannot enjoy their life because of other people that is usually bully them and more likely racist, discriminating in the people who just want peace and freedom for who they are.
Gender equality is a human right, but in our world faces a persistent gap in access to opportunities and decision-making power for women and men. The word gender describes the socially-constructed roles and responsibilities that societies consider appropriate for men and women. Women’s empowerment is a critical aspect of achieving gender equality. It includes increasing a woman’s sense of self-worth, her decision- making power, her access to opportunities and resources, her power and control over her own life inside and outside the home, and her ability to effect change. Families may also rely on girls’ labor for household chores, carrying water, and childcare, leaving limited time for schooling. But prioritizing girls’ education provides perhaps the single highest return on investment in the developing world. Facing the reality LGBTQ+. In recent years, lawmakers and school administrators in the Philippines have recognized that bullying of LGBT youth is a serious problem, and designed interventions to address it. In 2012, the Department of Education (DepEd), which oversees primary and secondary schools, enacted a Child Protection Policy designed to address bullying and discrimination in schools, including on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity, although out of school LGBTQ can still taste the discrimination of the society, where in even adults use to bully and call them “pest” (salot) which means they don’t like this kind of people in our community but this people they are calling “pest” as a great things did and they all want is to love and to beloved but they Society where they are living. to this people in our society that they are not a pest but they are also people who want to express who or what they are.

I am Erica Mae V. Cabugsa, a third-year student taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English at Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology. I am one of the people who experiencing a difficulty during pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide and presents an unprecedented challenge to public health. All of the people are particularly vulnerable to the disruptions that pandemic has caused, many people are now at risk because of pandemic, students are left behind in education, people are falling into extreme poverty. Being one of the people who experiencing a pandemic it has been hard on all of us it affects our daily lifestyles, work, school and how they interact with others.
Many uncertainties remain on the positive and negative effects of the pandemic but despite of all trials that people experiencing during pandemic were still grateful that we are safe and healthy and also, we spent quality time with our family and I know that we can survive in this kind of trials that we are experiencing right now.

The study by feminists or pro-feminist men in universities across the world on men as gendered beings and the meaning and experience of masculinity is one of the most important intellectual developments over the last decade. We don’t see what is inside of a woman, we don’t know that women can be more dangerous and powerful than Man, we don’t know that woman can do such things man can do because the society can always see women as a feminine don’t have power but look at the women now, some are on progress and some are now more on powerful, society is just thinking that women are like this but the reality is women are more powerful than you think. On the hand, now the rainbow flag is an international symbol for LGBTQ pride and can be seen flying proudly, during both the promising times and the difficult ones, all around the world. LGBTQ individuals and allies currently use rainbow flags and many rainbow-themed items and color schemes as an outward symbol of their identity or support. They are humans too, we should consider them like we consider ourselves, nobody’s perfect that’s why they are not too because it is hard for them to tell who they really are in times that they want to tell anybody, sometimes we just need to talk to our family but our family has the worst reaction and more racist than the society. LGBTQ+ needs love and support that we cannot give, we need to accept them specially to the family who have LGBTQ+ in their family, they are worth loving and worth to have peace, in that we also need to give the freedom that they desire.

In conveying message non verbal language such as smile, nod or making face are very important. It reveals our personality the way how we interact with people and the way as we are. Our faces is the most significant part of our body that often sets us in our whole identity. Our facial expressions are the brand of our self from those people who knows us. It doesn't matter whether it may be negative or positive we fill our own role in the history in terms of our existence and acting upon our thoughts and emotions in verbal and nonverbal language. This phenomenon made us identify each people around us, even in a simple smile you can make friends, family, or even an enemy in just a single facial expression. Expressions which made the world normal for humans to exercise this physical feature that is innate in us, unique in every person, in which also made the connection in every single person in the world.
But when covid-19 pandemic put to existence, aside from its deadly predicament, it has changed our way of life dramatically. We are being set apart, separating us from being connected, hiding from our own shelters, covering our faces with emotionless piece of cloth. Depriving us to interact also means taking away our very sense of humanity. In return for protection from impending danger of the covid-19 virus we are hindered to express our thoughts and feelings through covering our facial language. We seek an alternative ways to convey our facial emotions through creating something that protects yet never restrains to deliver our personal emotions through putting message to our face mask that serves our protection. Converting our personality into art and fusing it into something that also protects us is a way
to make non verbal language to be conveyed. Saying a positive thoughts through colors and designs in our face mask help us to connect with people and convey a message that “this pandemic will not dehumaze human”

We chose this project because we wanted to expose a really fashionable shoes. So most of the teenager can be confident by wearing this sneakers.
Step 1. Cut and design
Cut the leather according to desired size and design. Our design and color selection will serve as the message to someone that we will face, so make sure to select happy and bright colors!

Step 2. Make hole pattern
It's very important to make holes through the mask, it should be put right where the nose and the mouth is located, this serves as air passage. Pattern throughout the leather edge that serves as a guide to make our sewing uniform and straight. Remember not to hole at the very tip of the edge of the leather make sure that you leave a space that the needle will not tear the edge.
Step 3. Assemble
To put the parts together is the most crucial in making to work. You must be very careful when doing so cause you might stitch you fingers and that's hurt. be sure to assemble first smaller parts before installing the major pieces. And lastly put the garter to the earpiece of the mask.
