Last year, Australian people voted against an Aboriginal Voice to parliament. Reflect on what happened and how having a 'Voice' or not may or may not impact on the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Link this reflection to unit content in some way e.g. the impact of colonisation, Social and Emotional wellbeing, social determinants of health. Include some comment on your experiences or feelings about the Voice and if it is relevant to your practice as a nurse or midwife

• Provide context on the Australian people's rejection of the Aboriginal Voice to Parliament.
• Highlight the importance of Indigenous representation in decision-making processes.

Impacts on Health and Wellbeing:

• Reflect on the potential effects, both positive and negative, of having or not having a 'Voice' on the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
• Draw connections to unit content, such as the impacts of colonization, Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB), and social determinants of health.

Personal Commentary:

• Share personal experiences or feelings about the 'Voice' and its relevance to nursing or midwifery practice.
• Discuss how the 'Voice' may influence healthcare delivery and outcomes for Indigenous populations.

date (2020 for all materials because that was when the unit was written),
then the title of the lecture e.g. “Culture” or "Tutorial Activities module 2"
For the publisher write " NUM2308, Edith Cowan University"
It might not be perfect APA style but is ok for the purposes of this reflection.
4) You MUST reference the specific chapter you are referring to in the Biles and Biles Text book. You will see that each chapter has different authors so they are a separate end-text and intext reference. Look up “how to reference a chapter in an edited book in APA 7th” for guidance.
