Instructions: Answer the questions below.

  1. Using your response from Assessment 2A Written reflection, briefly summarise your career goals and if you expected accounting to be relevant to these goals. Have your career goals and beliefs about accounting changed during the semester? Why or why not?

In Assessment 2A, my career goals were to pursue a job in accounting because there is a high need for accountants in the business world. Nonetheless, I observed that my job goals had shifted throughout the semester. At first, I was sure that accounting was the most critical aspect of the business. However, I found that I was not skilled at accounting or correctly computing equations since I frequently produced errors due to my carelessness. Marketing has come to mind in terms of my present career goals. It fascinates me to design, create, and deliver value to clients through content to increase sales and brand loyalty. Aside from accounting, I understood that other critical elements influence a company's performance. However, marketing is equally crucial since it interacts with customers and assists them in making purchasing decisions. After my learning experience, I concluded that accounting had constraints that made incorporating creative works into daily life difficult because there were rules and equations to follow. As a result, I had conflicting sentiments about my job goals.

  1. In Assessment 2A Written reflection , what were your SMART goals for this subject and the activities you planned to achieve your goals? Did you achieve your goals? Did you do the activities you planned? Why or why not? How do you feel about your work, progress, and performance in this subject? I set out to comprehend and apply the accounting ideas taught in the tutorial in assessment 2A. I planned to increase class participation and improve effective communication in order to optimize learning outcomes. I was unable to complete all my objectives because I did not attend the pre- tutorials for weeks 9 and 10, which resulted in low performance on the quizzes. Throughout the semester, I accomplished most of the duties. I intended to gradually absorb the films presenting ideas in the pre-tutorials in order to better understand the material and boost class participation. Before practicing the lesson issue, I try to take the most full and appropriate notes possible. I reviewed the curriculum and took the lecturer's practice tests to prepare for the weekly quizzes. So far, I've been feeling both worried and content as I've continually attempted to deliver the work on time.

Nonetheless, I encountered slack in other parts, particularly budgeting, which troubled me as the chapter progressed. Regardless, I shall practice and assess the chapter in which I am weak in. Otherwise, I believe that the job is on track and that the accounting performance has been carefully planned to provide a satisfying result.

  1. What are your feelings and emotions towards the upcoming final exam? How are you planning to prepare? Did you learn anything that might help you prepare for your exam by writing this reflection? I have conflicting emotions about the impending final test since I am both anxious and excited about the complexity of the questions. I'll study the textbook chapters and review the formulae and ideas in the pre-tutorial and class notes as part of my preparation. After completing this reflection, I learned to do assignments as an effective practice rather than merely completing them for the sake of the grade and to proactively self-review the modules. Furthermore, improving my time management would add assistance to preparing for my exam.
