GCU Mission and Vision The vision and the mission will help set the foundation for my educational, personal, career and overall life goals while on this educational journey.
Doctrinal Statement Is in alignment with my religious beliefs and will help to know that I am able to fulfill the mission that God has assigned to my life while on this educational journey.
University Snapshot Allows me to reflect on how the university has been successful throughout the years and will allow me to see how I can be apart of the future as well as all of the opportunities that are available while being a student at the university.
Christian Identity and Heritage
While I am truly a believer in God and one of his disciples, it is without a doubt that I am connected to a university that is grounded and rooted in the word of God. It is without a doubt that I will be successful while attending the university with God on my side.

Purpose and Connection
Course Syllabus The syllabus provides detailed descriptions of the assignment topics, topic readings that are interactive and current policies and expectations for the class for all of the learners at GCU.
Course Materials Provide a list of materials such as books and articles that will be needed for the course.
Announcements Information that is communicated by the instructor during the course.
Describe the purpose of each of the following forums in this course: Discussion Question, Private Forum, Questions to Instructor Forum, and the Class Wall.
Forum Type Purpose
Discussion Question The discussion questions are completed each week by answering the questions with supporting evidence based off of the weekly readings.
Private Forum Learners and instructors are able to communicate via private messages where other classmates are not able to see.
Questions to Instructor Forum
Learners are able to ask questions to the instructor about information that they may need assistance with and may be of assistance to others.
