Homework Assignment Provide a summary about the history and the origin of Country music and popular figures of country music? Country music is the fusion of African American blues and spirituals with Appalachian folk music. Country music was popularized in the 1920s and evolved into a commercial genre known as western country. They then just simply renamed it into Country music. Country music developed in the southern United States from ballads and folklore music. Country music was developed rural dwellers and it draws out from the imagery and values of rural life. Country music supposedly tells a story. The topics in country music covers ideal love, family ties, and rural living. The lyrics in country music often deals with conflict and uses plain language. There is no real emotion in their singing voice when it comes to country music. Some of the popular instruments involved in country music is the fiddle. The fiddle is another name for the violin and is imported from Northern Europe. The guitar is imported from Spain and other instruments include the banjo and steel guitar.
