TED Talk: Hopes and Joys of an Angelite

Home quarantine reflection on the meaningful way of being an Angelite (2-3-minute video recording uploaded via LMS/Canvas) A summary of their learning experiences on the Mindfulness and Meditation exercises based on the home-based spiritual activities, prayer session with their prayer partner and Angelite Bible Sharing (ABS).

Spiritual activities with my family and friends such as prayering together and sharing the word of God gave us the opportunity to continue to nurture our spirituality even at home. As I am doing what the Lord tells me to do, as I obey Him, I was able to meet new people and deepen my relationship with my family even more by doing prayer meetings and I said to myself, “I am not alone”, I've realized. I am not alone because the Holy Spirit is with me.

Despite loneliness and uncertainties, COVID-19 silently offers us an opportunity to reflect on the spiritual impact it has on the world and our communities and help those who need our help even in my own small ways. I realize the importance of my purpose here on Earth, that God has a plan for me to grow, to become more like him, to experience joy and to bless others too. I think of our situation as a challenge. A challenge that will make me stronger and courageous as I rely on Jesus Christ and learn and follow His gospel. Now, I ask myself, “How do I get through these challenges?” As I said many times, we are not alone and I cannot do it alone. Praying is one of the easiest things that I do. I

Think of it as a conversation with God. As I seek help in a prayer, he will send

thoughts to our mind or feelings to our heart and guide us in what we should

do. He may also answer your prayers through someone else and we’ll never

now. To sum it up, the whole experience taught me to be positive each and

every day. Make the decision and take massive action! We need to do

something in order to make it happen. Then give thanks and then show my

gratitude helping others. For the fact that this is actually one of the two

greatest commandments, Love thy neighbors as thyself. And when we serve

and love others, we love God.
