HADRAMOUT

 THE SITE OF THE KINGDOM OF HADHRAMAUT

The Kingdom of Hadhramaut was located in the

south and southeast of Yemen and the Sultanate

of Oman, which is the ancient southern Arabian

kingdom, and it maintained its political

independence until it was conquered by the King

of Sheba in the late third century AD.

 THE ORIGIN OF THE NAME HADHRAMOUT

It is believed that the name Hadhramaut goes

back to Hadhramaut bin Qahtan bin Amer bin

Shalekh bin Arfakhshad bin Sam bin Noah, whose

real name was Amer and nicknamed Hadhramaut

because he used to kill a lot in wars, and in the

Torah it means Hadramout, the abode of death.

Its capital is Shabwa, which means salt; The salt

mines on which the economy of

the Kingdom of Hadhramaut relied

abounded along with the

agriculture for which they built

canals and dams to benefit from

rainwater to irrigate crops, and

the trade from which they made a

lot of money.

One of the most famous deities of

the Kingdom of Hadhramaut is the

god Sin, whose temple is located in the city of

Madhab. They help city elders.

This text is the oldest text that refers to the Yam tribe and the Kalb tribe. It was not mentioned The Musnad texts of the Yamiites from the tribe or people of Hamedan, as mentioned in the books of genealogy and the people of the news. Rather, it appears that they were directly imbibed in Hadramawt. The event of the victory of “Ya’ael bin Rab Shams” and during the war between Dhi Raydan (Hemaar) and Saba, the Hadramis were a party to it until the kingdom finally took control.
