25 milligrams for my hypertension meds and 5 milligrams for the prostate medication.

What time of day do you take your hypertension medication? (Clarified to: What blood pressure medicine do you take?)

Ques 10:41 AM

It's called metoprolol. (Clarified to: what blood pressure medicine I take)

when do you take the metoprolol? (Clarified to: How frequently are you supposed to be taking metoprolol?) Ques 10:42 AM

I take one pill a day, every day. Usually in the morning. (Clarified to: how often I take metoprolol)

Have you had anything to eat today? Ques 10:42 AM

I haven't eaten yet today, but I'm not hungry with everything that's going on right now.

I understand. Empat 10:42 AM

Thank you. It's been trying.

Model Statement: "Mr. Hall, judging by the label on the bottle and what you've just told me, it appears that you've been taking a double dose of Metoprolol. These pills here are the 50mg version, so you should only be taking half a pill at a time. This double dose could be what has caused your dizziness as well as your fall this morning. I can show you how to easily halve your pill so that you can get back on your normal dose of medication."

Description: Mr. Hall reveals he has no way to measure his BP at home, and no close groceries or pharmacies to check his vitals at.

Do you check your blood pressure at home? Ques 10:57 AM

I don't really check it at home, but a month ago at my doctor's appointment, it was just fine.

Are you needing your home medications? Ques 10:58 AM

Well, I already took my hypertension medication today before I fell, but I haven't had my prostate meds yet.

Do you need help with getting dressed? (Clarified to: Do you have trouble dressing yourself?)

Ques 10:58 AM

No, I have no trouble putting my clothes on in the morning. (Clarified to: if I have trouble dressing myself)

Model Statement: "You should try and check your blood pressure before you take your medication, and any time you don't feel good. You shouldn't take metoprolol if your systolic blood pressure is less than 100 and your heart rate is less than 55. If you have no way to check your blood pressure, we can help get you a blood pressure monitor and teach you how to properly use and read it at home."

Description: Mr. Hall has reported poor appetite and a weight loss of 10 pounds in the last 6 months.

Well, my last dose of the prostate medicine had to have been yesterday, but I took my hypertension medication this morning... that was before the fall of course. I think I took some Benadryl to get to sleep earlier this week too.

Do you know the doses of your medications? Ques 10:41 AM

Model Statement: "Remember you should not take benadryl to help you sleep. Benadryl and medications with the name "PM" in it like Tylenol PM, Advil PM, zzzQuil contain diphenhydramine, which is an antihistamine medication. This medication can cause not just sleepiness but dizziness and confusion too, which can lead to falls or accidents."
