Thanks for telling me.

Model Statement: "I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing those symptoms; they can be very uncomfortable. I’ll ask you some

questions to learn more about your symptoms, and we will try to determine what’s causing you to feel this way."

Description: Tina has signs of hypertension and a strong family history of the disease, but does not take any action.

tell me about your blood pressure

I don't know much about it. I think my blood pressure is fairly normal, compared to my family anyway. They all have high blood

pressure. I've never been diagnosed with high blood pressure or anything.

when last did you check your blood pressure

The last time I was here in the clinic, the nurse checked it.

what was your blood pressure (Clarified to: What was your blood pressure measurement?)

I don't know the exact number. Maybe it's in my chart from the last time I was here. I think it was on the high side. (Clarified to: what

my last blood pressure reading was)

it is important to keep record of your blood pressure so that you can know when it is deviating from normal

OK, I understand.

Model Statement: "A family history of hypertension means that you may be at risk for developing it, too, and you’ve had some high

blood pressure readings. Keeping your blood pressure low is important to avoid health problems in the future with your heart and

other organs."

Description: Tina describes being busy, anxious, and stressed out.

any anxiety 11

I've never been diagnosed, but I do feel anxious sometimes.

any fever 11

No. I haven't had a fever. [AUDIO COMING SOON]

any chills 11

I haven't had chills, no.

Model Statement: "Sounds like you’re working really hard. I’m sorry you’re dealing with so much stress."

Description: Tina drinks a high level of caffeine and does not stay hydrated with water.
