The two most relevant forms of ͞ďleŶded learŶiŶg͟ are the replaĐed model, which is characterized by the reduction of in class meeting time and the replacement of that time with online learning activities and the supplemental model, which retains the basic structure of a traditional course but students may be asked to attend online activities at home. When technology is integrated into school lessons, learners are more likely to be interested and focused on the subject they are studying because they are able to look up information whenever they want. Carol J (2016, p) claims that in class lessons limit the access to only those who can participate at a fixed time and location, whereas a virtual lesson reach those who can’t attend the lesson at a specific time. These examples show that the combination of online learning with teaching at the university increases digital competence, and helps students to become more flexible and independent.

Paragraph
Task: Discuss either two advantages OR two disadvantages of blended learning.
Today’s students benefit from blended learning in numerous different ways. Due to the constant
exposure to new media, the mixing of old teaching methods with the latest technologies is
inevitable. That’s why many universities offer the balanced combination of online learning and
application oriented events. The two most relevant forms of “blended learning” are the replaced
model, which is characterized by the reduction of in class meeting time and the replacement of that
time with online learning activities and the supplemental model, which retains the basic structure of
a traditional course but students may be asked to attend online activities at home. When technology
is integrated into school lessons, learners are more likely to be interested and focused on the subject
they are studying because they are able to look up information whenever they want. Carol J.Auster
(2016, p.40) claims that in class lessons limit the access to only those who can participate at a fixed
time and location, whereas a virtual lesson reach those who cant attend the lesson at a specific time.
These examples show that the combination of online learning with teaching at the university
increases digital competence, and helps students to become more flexible and independent.
